Positive: To be honest, we were a bit hesitant to book this property after reading a few low-rated reviews, but thank goodness we did! It turned out to be the best stay of our entire trip in New Zealand. We arrived late at night after a long drive from Fox Glacier. We had originally booked a two-bedroom unit with a special request for two separate single beds in one room. Instead of splitting the bed, the staff kindly upgraded us to a three-bedroom unit! The receptionist was so friendly and even asked about our journey. When she learned how long our trip had been, she offered us a late check-out. Such a thoughtful gesture! The property was spotless! Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every corner felt fresh and well cared for, which made our stay even more relaxing. But the highlight of all was the VIEW!!! Absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to that scenery truly made us feel like we were in a real resort!! Highly recommended! We would absolutely come back to this property whenever we visit New Zealand in the future.
Negative: We arrived late at night and got a little lost since it was completely dark. It took us more than half an hour to find our unit. Maybe we were just tired and a bit silly, lol! But honestly, it would really help if the resort added more lighting and clearer signs along the way to the units.
